About NIKON EN-EL3e

I wanted to buy a spare battery for my Nikon D90, therefore I have done some searching. I'm surprise that I saw a cheap NIKON EN-EL3e at this website, which only cost me RM 86.52. After I double check the battery image, then only I know this is 3rd party battery. They claimed that this battery is manufacturing from Japan but they don't even declare the manufacturer name, this really hold me back to order it.

Besides, I also found this website is selling a NIKON EN-EL3e Replacement Battery 2000mAh Ultra High Capacity at USD $14.99 (rough RM 50). "2000mAh" this sound so great but I have a doubt does it really contain such high capacity? I was looking for a review from end user unfortunately I can't find it. Wish someone who bought this can share his experiences.

I'm don't trust this 3rd party battery much as I don't know what will happen later. What if this battery does not function well or blow up. I would not rather save 100 to put my few thousand baby at risk. For those who doubt on third party battery you can read these posts 1 2. They even share their genuine battery and generic battery images, and teach you how to differentiate a counterfeit or original. Interesting to read =D

In summary I will consider to buy battery from Penang Camera shops, haha >.<. For those who like to know the current price, you can check my private price list.
