Coffe with Canon 2010

After 1 hour plus of badminton exercise with my friends, I went to Rotibakar Kopitiam, Times Square Penang, to attend a sharing session - Coffee with Canon there. I did not register or anything but luckily they allowed me to go in, so sitting down there listen to the trainer Glenn Guan. He is The Star photographer, he has very nice collection of photos to share with all of us. By looking at those photos, you will definitely impressed by his hard work and effort...really nice. To view his photos, you can go his website or blog
I did not stay until the end of the session, after Glenn's sharing, I went back to home and rushing to pick up my baobao, so I missed the Kevin's session. I think he is great photography too, to more about him, can go here.

By the way, I got 2 door gift, a memory card holder and a lanyard from Canon EOS digital.

BaoBao's Asus laptop dropped on floor

Yesterday my baobao brought her Asus laptop went to school for attend some training. During her lunch time, she left the laptop on the table and went for lunch. When she back to the room, she felt weird that her laptop is closed, just now she left it open. Suddenly someone from behind told her that he accidentally step on the power cable and the cable pulled the laptop....so Asus drop from 1m height table. She told me that she don't know what to say, that guy told anything happen can claim from him. By looking to all the "injury", so far no big deal. Haih.....how to claim from him, especially we don't know what is the "diagnosis" yet. Nvm....just tell ourself we were unlucky today, my heart is pain too, I take care of this Asus baby for 1 year, never drop or scratch a single line but yesterday free fall from table....LOL

Luckily Asus build quality product, I still able to use my laptop to write this post...Hope Asus is doing well...
Anyhow, my laptop WebCam like not doing well, it look a bit dark. For those who want to test their webcam, you can refer to here

About NIKON EN-EL3e

I wanted to buy a spare battery for my Nikon D90, therefore I have done some searching. I'm surprise that I saw a cheap NIKON EN-EL3e at this website, which only cost me RM 86.52. After I double check the battery image, then only I know this is 3rd party battery. They claimed that this battery is manufacturing from Japan but they don't even declare the manufacturer name, this really hold me back to order it.

Besides, I also found this website is selling a NIKON EN-EL3e Replacement Battery 2000mAh Ultra High Capacity at USD $14.99 (rough RM 50). "2000mAh" this sound so great but I have a doubt does it really contain such high capacity? I was looking for a review from end user unfortunately I can't find it. Wish someone who bought this can share his experiences.

I'm don't trust this 3rd party battery much as I don't know what will happen later. What if this battery does not function well or blow up. I would not rather save 100 to put my few thousand baby at risk. For those who doubt on third party battery you can read these posts 1 2. They even share their genuine battery and generic battery images, and teach you how to differentiate a counterfeit or original. Interesting to read =D

In summary I will consider to buy battery from Penang Camera shops, haha >.<. For those who like to know the current price, you can check my private price list.
